A slice of colour in the new Knives Out character posters (and final trailer)

*** read my 4-star review (it doesn’t tell you whodunnit because Rian Johnson requested it!) ***

One of the mostly eagerly-awaited films at this year’s London Film Festival (LFF) has a new trailer and a batch of character posters.

Knives Out is a murder mystery comedy, based around the death of patriarch and crime novelist Harlan Thrombey – at his own 85th birthday party. Daniel Craig is Benoit Blanc, the private detective trying to work out whodunnit from a very long list of suspects…

I LOVE these posters, though they are BRIGHT – I’m still seeing multicoloured spots before my eyes, though it’s possible that’s just all the local mums walking past my house in their Boden.

Check them out below or scroll down for the trailer:

I’m quite surprised I can’t see Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen peaking out from behind one of the actors.

Knives Out has a cast list that is the very definition of starry: Chris Evans, LaKeith Stanfield, Daniel Craig, Jamie Lee Curtis, Toni Collette, Don Johnson, Ana de Armas, Christopher Plummer, and Michael Shannon.

Written and directed by Rian Johnson, the movie is on general release in the US on 27 November and in the UK on 29 November. It’s also at LFF next month.
