I’ll be honest, this isn’t the first demon shark I’ve come across. Who can forget (despite best efforts) Shark Exorcist, about an eyes-glowing beast of the deep that came with its own evil nun?
The Black Demon (the story is apparently based on an old Mexican legend), from this trailer, looks to have better production values thank god. Though it’s still — despite the synopsis below calling it part of nature — supernatural in origin, as a mythical monstrous shark stalks and attacks a family stuck on an oil rig, determined to get its sacrifice.

Oilman Paul Sturges’ (Lucas) idyllic family vacation turns into a nightmare when they encounter a ferocious megalodon shark that will stop at nothing to protect its territory. Stranded and under constant attack, Paul and his family must somehow find a way to get his family back to shore alive before it strikes again in this epic battle between humans and nature.
