At the start I didn’t understand what was happening but then I realised. The pictures look like they’ve been drawn with crayons. It’s from Russia but it doesn’t matter because the family in it just grunt.
There is a family of Stone Age people and when the boy goes to collect apples he comes back with a puppy. The mum wants to cook it but they won’t let her. Then the family gets more and more pets to look after and the mum starts looking really cross as she knows she’s going to have to look after them all.
The dad even brings an elephant home and then she’s really upset.
My mum said she knows what it feels like.
The dad builds a big house for them all to live in. It is very funny – the mum is in charge but she gets annoyed with everyone until they start to help her.
The film is five minutes long but it felt longer because so much happens in it.
