Well the ones who didn’t get eaten in previous episodes, anyway.
Dr Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), Dr Alan Grant (Sam Neill — swoon), Dr Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) and Dr Henry Wu (BD Wong) are joined by Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard), Franklin Webb (Justice Smith), Dr Zia Rodriguez (Daniella Pineda) and Barry Sembenè (Omar Sy).
Ian Malcolm looks pretty cheery this time, presumably because he’s getting to do one of his finger-wagging “urgh, HUMANITY! You are AWFUL” speeches again. In his black shirt, black leather jacket and black specs it’s as if he’s created from the DNA of Dick Emery, Greta Thunberg and a Shoreditch art director.
The last film ended with dinosaurs escaping to freedom in America and judging from this trailer they’re now enjoying galloping across the plains — and eating people in town squares, with one dinosaur/motorbike chase along historic golden streets looking like something out of Jurassic James Bond.
Here’s the synopsis:
Taking place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed, dinosaurs now live — and hunt — alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.
