The man who put the ass in assassin — twice in fact — is BACK, and ready to kill any hitmen (and women) he didn’t dispatch in the first three movies. But could this be… the end? Maybe this time the People’s Hitman finally pops his clogs?
I don’t think so. Really, from what we’ve now seen he looks surprisingly perky and up for a fight, not dragging himself around, weighed down by injuries and grief like before. Besides, John Wick is the dark side’s James Bond. Both have a signature, immaculate suit; both fetishise their toys, in James’s case high tech killing gizmos, in John’s case straightforward, favourite guns. Both have a dead wife! Though where James has a new woman in each movie, John gets a new dog.
This is the fourth Wick movie, so only 21 more to go to match 007. No doubt they are on their way, and by the time we get to 25 he’ll also be known as 007, as that’ll be the number of fingers he has left.
Here’s the John Wick 4 synopsis:
John Wick (Keanu Reeves) uncovers a path to defeating The High Table. But before he can earn his freedom, Wick must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into foes.
