The UK’s cinema lockdown and the endless blockbuster postponements at least means smaller movies are finding an audience – and Philophobia director Guy Davies is trying to ensure that for his own indie film, by putting together his own DIY cinema release schedule. Despite being a scheduling newbie, he currently has 43 cinemas lined up from Friday 30 October.
If you’re in the UK and happy to go to the cinema, check this one out and support indie film at the same time. (And if you’re wondering about that title, it means fear of falling in love.)

Here’s the synopsis:
Philophobia is a picture of small town adolescence. One week of high school remains for Kai, an aspiring writer, and his friends. How they choose to spend this time awakens sexual desires, costs one of them their life and leaves them all changed forever…
