I know – are we even worth saving? (A philosophical question perfectly appropriate for Bill & Ted movies considering No1 boasted a star turn from So-crates himself.)
This is the first full-length trailer for Bill & Ted Face The Music – they still haven’t written the song to save us all and have to go to the future to steal it from themselves.
There’s also a new poster:

At the start of the trailer our two favourite middle-aged slackers are off to couples therapy – together, of course – before heading into the future to meet themselves. Meanwhile their daughters Billie and Thea are rounding up famous musicians across time to form what one hopes will be the most super supergroup the world has ever seen (apart from Me Me Me, obviously.)
They also pop in to see Death, and Hell can’t be all bad because it hosts not just the world’s most interesting people but also swingball.
Bill & Ted Face The Music has been bouncing around the summer release schedules for months, as movies have been playing leapfrog to avoid TENET, but now TENET is in limbo.
The New US release date for B&T is 1 September for cinemas and on demand. The last I heard (a few weeks ago) regarding a UK release date was 14 August.
Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves are back as the most excellent duo, with Brigette Lundy-Paine and Samara Weaving as Ted and Bill’s daughters Billie and Thea. Kid Cudi plays himself and William Sadler is back as Death. Bill & Ted Face The Music is directed by Dean Parisot.
