Fabulously sleazy cops ‘n’ killers thriller Copshop is out now in UK cinemas, and it’s well worth checking out.
Watching it gives you the kind of dopamine surge you get from eating a massive donut while hiding behind a sanctimonious tome on clean eating: naughty but so good (not unlike Gerard Butler himself, one assumes).
Butler plays greasy hitman Bob Viddick, who gets himself thrown in jail in order to get to conman Teddy Murretto (Frank Grillo), who has just got himself arrested to avoid Viddick. Last of the break-ins is psychopathic killer Tony Lamb (Toby Huss), and stuck in the middle is rookie cop Valerie Young (Alexis Louder) — trying to survive the night in the isolated Gun Creek Police Department.
