It’s here! The trailer for Christmas In The Caribbean. At least I think it’s a trailer. It might just be a very short film, as it appears the whole plot (should you not have guessed it already) is right there.

Imagine Shirley Valentine only with fewer jokes and she shops at Waitrose in white jeans, crossed with last year’s middle aged tartan love fest A Castle For Christmas — that’s Christmas In The Caribbean.
Check out the synopsis:
Rachel (Elizabeth Hurley), a hopeless romantic, has her wedding dreams poof into the crisp, late-December air when she catches her groom high-tailing it out of the church minutes before he says “I do.” Her two bridesmaids, Amanda and Rebecca, drunkenly decide not to let her perfectly good honeymoon go to waste. The ladies jet off to the islands, ready to relax in the sun and sea. Their very first evening meal brings a handsome restaurateur Allesandro to their table, and sparks begin to fly between him and Rachel.
And here’s the trailer!
Christmas In The Caribbean is Directed by Philippe Martinez and stars Liz Hurley as Rachel, Caroline Quentin and Nathalie Cox as her bridesmaids, and Edoardo Costa as Allesandro. The film was written by Cox and Martinez. Americans, you can catch it in cinemas and on demand on 2 December 2022.
By the way there is also another film, out this November — Christmas In Paradise — which is also directed and co-written by Philippe Martinez, and also stars Elizabeth Hurley, which is a sequel to 2021’s Father Christmas Is Back. I have no idea if Christmas In The Caribbean takes place in the same particularly festive, Hurleyfied universe. Or maybe they filmed both back to back as they were already on a tropical island?
