Looking like Den and Angie Watts on a posh skiiing holiday, Maurizio Gucci and his wife Patrizia move between the hottest hotspots and weird family members, always dressed to the nines.
“I don’t consider myself to be a particularly ethical person, but I am fair,” says Patrizia (Lady Gaga), later jailed for arranging to have her (by then) ex-husband shot dead.
Yes this is the first trailer for Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci and it’s a total hoot, overflowing with money, hair and cigarette smoke, and set to a Blondie soundtrack (Heart of Glass).

Maurizio was shot dead in 1995, after splitting from Patrizia. She was convicted and jailed for arranging the killing and spent nearly two decades in prison — with the official movie synopsis making House Of Gucci sound like a 1980s miniseries starring Stephanie Powers:
House of Gucci is inspired by the shocking true story of the family empire behind the Italian fashion house of Gucci. Spanning three decades of love, betrayal, decadence, revenge, and ultimately murder, we see what a name means, what it’s worth, and how far a family will go for control.
