It’s all kicking off! Jason Statham is a man with a grudge in the Wrath Of Man trailer

31st March 2021 by Sarah

With my severely truncated attention span after a year of various lockdowns, I have developed a new fondness for trailers which tell you a lot about the film – and Wrath Of Man is just such a beast.

When I started watching it I knew nothing about it but title, star and director – now I’m surprised I don’t know Statham’s character’s shoe size.

Even better, he bears a grudge, just like me (for literally decades. You have been warned!)

Jason Statham stars as H in director Guy Ritchie’s WRATH OF MAN

I says his character, as he doesn’t have a name just an initial – H – and I’m guessing it’s not that bloke from Steps.

Here’s the synopsis:

A mysterious and wild-eyed new cash truck security guard (Jason Statham) surprises his coworkers during a heist in which he unexpectedly unleashes precision skills. The crew is left wondering who he is and where he came from. Soon, the marksman’s ultimate motive becomes clear as he takes dramatic and irrevocable steps to settle a score.

Watch the trailer now:

Guy Ritchie directed, and the cast includes Holt McCallany, Jeffrey Donovan, Josh Hartnett, Laz Alonso and Scott Eastwood.

Raúl Castillo as Sam, Deobia Oparei as Brad, Jeffrey Donovan as Jackson, Chris Reilly as Tom, Laz Alonso as Carlos, and Scott Eastwood as Jan

The film is out in the US on 7 May – according to IMDB it’s released in the UK on 25 June.
