Greta trailer, clips and interviews: never letting a good deed go unpunished…

*** My 3-star review of Greta is now live ***

I never thought I’d say this but it turns out you can have too many handbags.

Set in New York, the motherless Frances (Chloe Grace Moretz) is having fun, living with best friend Erica (Maika Monroe). But after Frances finds a handbag on the subway and returns it to its owner, the seemingly friendly and very lonely Greta (Isabelle Huppert), she becomes trapped in a terrifying spiral of obsession and possession as Greta stalks her and refuses to take no for an answer.

The teaser, trailer and clips give a clear idea of what to expect, with Huppert in particular giving a gleeful performance that looks like it was oodles of fun to play – getting increasingly barmy, with a take on motherhood so awful she makes me look like Princess Di.

There’s plenty here for you to get your teeth into – check out the “5 signs” teaser, the trailer, two clips from the film (ESPECIALLY the incredibly creepy handbag one), plus interviews with cast and director.

Greta is released on 19 April in the UK and 1 March in the US.
