Black Widow final trailer: “We have to go back to where it all started…”

10th March 2020 by Sarah Leave a Comment

The third Black Widow trailer is out now, ahead of the Marvel film’s 1 May release.

The film is set between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, forced to face her past mistakes when she’s confronted with a dangerous conspiracy.

“Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.“

Alexei Shostakov (David Harbour), Melina Vostokoff (Rachel Weisz), Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) and (Scarlett Johansson)

The villain this time is Taskmaster, who controls the Red Room, a Russian brainwashing operation targeting young women. (I doubt you come here for comic book superhero info, if you did you’ll know by now that you’re in the wrong place – so for more on Taskmaster check out this “Taskmaster Explained” Collider article.)

David Harbour as Red Guardian

Black Widow stars Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff. Florence Pugh is Yelena Belova, and Rachel Weisz is Melina Vostokoff, both Black Widows; David Harbour is Alexei Shostokov / Red Guardian. The film is directed by Cate Shortland.
