What can I say, I hate to be accused of being clickbait-y.
So here they are – meet the recruits, with their call signs, from the upcoming sequel to the 1980s classic.
I don’t know whether “Bob” is just his name or actually Bob’s call sign. Maybe he does, literally, bob. We will find out in the summer.

Top Gun: Maverick is directed by Joseph Kosinski and will be released in the US on 26 June and in the UK on 17 July.
