We’ve now got six weeks to wait until Christopher Nolan’s intriguing time travel thriller hits cinemas on 12 August, and then a whole lifetime afterwards to try to work out what it all means.

Here’s the short, and baffling, synopsis:
Armed with only one word — Tenet — and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time. Not time travel. Inversion.
TENET is directed by Christopher Nolan (still the hottest Chris), and stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Kenneth Branagh, Elizabeth Debicki, Himesh Patel and Michael Caine.
It’s out – for now! – on 12 August in the UK and the US.
