In the movie Theron plays Andy, full name Andromache of Scythia, a warrior who leads a group of immortal mercenaries including newest member Nile (Kiki Layne). Undertaking a new mission, their superhuman abilities are suddenly exposed.

The Old Guard is directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood and is out on 10 July on Netflix.
Co-starring with Theron and Layne are Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Harry Melling, Van Veronica Ngo, Matthias Schoenaerts and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
The film is based on the acclaimed graphic novel by Greg Rucka.
