There’s a glossy-yet-shadowy magazine for assassins coming out this month, and I really hope that a pencil is the free gift with the first issue. (A decent quality pencil, tested to ensure each one can kill three people in a bar before breaking*).
The new magazine is called Continental Quarterly and is the in-house publication of the renowned Continental Hotel. Ant it will hopefully fill that hitman magazine-shaped gap in the underworld publications market. For too long assassins and hitmen have had no easy way to read about new ways to kill people, new ways to kill people or new ways to kill people.
Throw in some handy pet care tips, vintage car comparisons and an interview with the world’s sexiest – if least talkative – contract killer, Mr John Wick himself, and it’s the perfect publication to showcase the Continental hotel and the luxury lifestyle it provides to assassins.
The people behind John Wick: Chapter 2 are producing this online sometime this month and you can see it at www.continentalquarterly.com – there’s a brief taster for it up there already.
*Wick’s weapon of choice as it’s easy to get through airport security and he can scribble a quick IOU for all the damage he’s caused afterwards.
