Ineson plays the not-so-jolly green giant in David Lowery’s upcoming movie The Green Knight, which also stars Dev Patel as Sir Gawain.
A24 have now released this short film Legends Never Die: An Oral History of ‘Sir Gawain and The Green Knight,’ narrated by Ineson — a crash course on the 14th century epic poem that inspired Lowery’s film.

An epic fantasy adventure based on the timeless Arthurian legend, THE GREEN KNIGHT tells the story of Sir Gawain (Dev Patel), King Arthur’s reckless and headstrong nephew, who embarks on a daring quest to confront the eponymous Green Knight, a gigantic emerald-skinned stranger and tester of men.
