225 Film Club: Promoting Female Excellence In Direction

The difficult task of whittling down an already impressive longlist has now been completed!

Celebrating its fifth edition, the 2023 Official Selection screens at the BFI on Thursday 26 October with backing from BFI Inclusion. This edition the BEST SHORT FILM award will be chosen by the audience. The winner will receive a post production prize sponsored by Lipsync.

The programme is curated by Director Rita Osei, she also produces the event. Scroll down to see which films made the final cut — and previously announced films screening out of competition.
