Listen caerphilly, cheese lovers! I didn’t quite brie-lieve it but the Yanks are getting into cheese! A US team is heading to the cheese olympics, and they’re not stilton on anything. As a cheese lover I think spreading the word is edam gouda thing, and I’m not going to curd my enthusiasm on this one. The documentary is released on 1 September on Apple TV, Google Play and Amazon so put it in your dairy. I can’t think of a feta way to spend an evening, with a glass of wine and a cheeseboard of course.
Here’s the synopsis:
A cheesemonger is like a sommelier for cheese. In America, it’s often an unappreciated job, but Adam “Mister Moo” Moskowitz hopes to change that. He coaches a U.S. team to compete at the Mondial du Fromage – the “Olympics of Cheese” – where they’ve never won. The film follows these underdogs through cultural clashes, personal struggles, and melting cheese as they train for the ultimate competition.
