“I’ll become a pilot, the best in the galaxy!” says a young Han Solo. And I wish I had been so accurate in my own career projections at that age as if so by now I’d be a top model moonlighting as the first ever British Prime Minister with a 100% approval rating (and the best pilot in the galaxy, of course).
But my god Alden Ehrenreich (Han Solo) looks like a brown-haired Brad Pitt in this, which is a pain as I already get him mixed up with Taron Egerton. And he’s already a better driver than me and I passed my test in 1837.
Co-starring Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Woody Harrelson as Tobias Beckett (who seems to be assembling a team), and Emilia Clarke as Qi’Ra, Thandie Newton also pops up in the trailer though I don’t know who she’s playing and according to IMDB she’s still listed as “rumored”. No she isn’t, IMDB!
Solo: A Star Wars story is released on 25 May 2018 and is directed by Ron Howard.
