If you can get past wanting to force the Russian peasant-turned-influencer into a bath, a hair wash, plus – and I say this as a Brit, so you know things are bad – a trip to the dentist, this trailer (the third) looks an explosive hoot.
It’s Downtown Abbey meets James Bond in the origins story for Kingsman: The Secret Service and its follow-up Kingsman: The Golden Circle.
The King’s Man takes us back to WW1, well it looks like WW1, as Conrad (Harris Dickinson) implores his father the urbane Duke of Oxford (Ralph Fiennes) to let him fight, while his father schools him in the real wickedness of men and how the world is run – and the part the world’s first independent intelligence agency plays in holding evil at bay.
Here’s the synopsis:
As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them.
