That’s Chris Hemsworth, playing a mercenary who is tasked with rescuing the kidnapped son of a drugs lord, taken on the orders of another drugs lord.
By the look of this trailer, rescuing the boy is only the start of their problems.
Here’s the synopsis:
“Tyler Rake (Hemsworth) is a fearless black market mercenary with nothing left to lose when his skills are solicited to rescue the kidnapped son of an imprisoned international crime lord. But in the murky underworld of weapons dealers and drug traffickers, an already deadly mission approaches the impossible, forever altering the lives of Rake and the boy.”
Extraction is out on Netflix on 24 April. It’s produced by the Russo Brothers and written by Joe Russo, with Sam Hargrave directing.
Co-starring with Chris Hemsworth are Rudhraksh Jaiswal as kidnapped boy Ovi Mahajan, Randeep Hooda, Golshifteh Farahani, Pankaj Tripathi, Priyanshu Painyuli, and David Harbour.
