Excuse me when I bang these coconut shells together, I’m clapping not pretending to be a horse.
Yes, not only will you be able to watch Monty Python & The Holy Grail in a limited cinema run from 21 February, but there will also be… wait for it… [more clip-clop clapping]… QUOTE-ALONG SCREENINGS!
That’s therapy for anyone whose mother was a hamster and whose father smelt of elderberries, and all for the price of a cinema ticket and a coconut.
Come on cinephiles — who needs a Dark Knight when you can have a knight who says “NI!”
Celebrating that key marker, 48 and a half years since its original theatrical release, the film will be showing in UK cinemas, offering the audience a unique chance to see the film on the big screen. The quote-a-long edition, showing in selected cinemas, was created specifically to celebrate the anniversary.
Tickets on sale now from www.holygrailincinemas.com with early booking recommended for these limited screenings.
