World’s hottest granddad Pierce Bronan is in it too but don’t worry, he doesn’t sing (well not in the trailer anyway).

Looking very much as if they’d invited my Greatest Showman-loving 8 year old to reboot Game Of Thrones, Will Ferrell’s slapstick sing-song Eurovision Song Contest is landing on Netflix later this month.
Its full title is actually Eurovision Song Contest: The Story Of Fire Saga, Fire Saga being the name of an inept musical duo from Iceland. Even worse for Fire Saga member Lars Erickssong (Will Ferrell), his dad, Erick Eriskssong (Brosnan) is hotter than a thermal spring.
It looks a hoot, with a cameo from Graham Norton, fake camel toes and even a mention for Andrew Ridgeley.
Here’s the synopsis:
When aspiring musicians Lars and Sigrit (Rachel McAdams) are given the opportunity to represent their country at the world’s biggest song competition, they finally have a chance to prove that any dream worth having is a dream worth fighting for.
You can check out the outfits in the newly-released images below, which manage to be both gloriously over the top and, by Eurovision standards, rather low-key.
