I’m kidding! We all know if such a movie were to exist — and don’t we wish it did — it could only star Robert Pattinson and Florence Pugh. And a de-aged Christian Bale as Deirdre’s lover Mike Baldwin.
No, this is from Barbie, the 2023 comedy romance directed by Greta Gerwig and co-written by Gerwig and Noah Baumbach.
I do love the hair though, as it reminds me of what I did to my own Sindy* dolls with a pair of nail scissors before realising it wouldn’t grow back.
The movie is due out in July 2023. Co-starring with Robbie and Gosling are Emma Mackay, Will Ferrell, America Fererra, Simu Liu, Kate McKinnon, Alexandra Shipp, Issa Rae, Kingsley Ben-Adir and Connor Swindells.
*The tougher, cheaper, less polished British doll.
