It’s Bill & Ted Day today, and we get a new poster to celebrate.
And apparently we’re getting the first teaser/trailer later today.
Face The Music has the middle-aged Bill S. Preston Esq and Ted “Theodore” Logan still trying to fulfil their musical destiny. They have to write a song to save the universe – a plot that originally sounded rather sweet and now sounds entirely necessary, and possibly the only thing that can save us.
The film is meant to be out on 21 August. The poster doesn’t have a date, just Summer 2020, though timings permitting I may make it a double bill with TENET.
Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves are back as the most excellent duo, with Brigette Lundy-Paine and Samara Weaving as Ted and Bill’s daughters Billie and Thea. Kid Cudi plays himself and William Sadler is back as Death. Bill & Ted Face The Music is directed by Dean Parisot.
