The trailer came out last week supported with one quite dull image, but this new poster is a damn sight more arresting.
It’s an approach which fits the movie rather well, which is about a traumatised young woman (Carey Mulligan) who pretends to be a drunken mess – then when men take her home for sex under the guise of helping her, it turns out she’s very much in control.
Subtle it isn’t – the poster reminds me of Jaws and The Rocky Horror Picture Show – but the trailer is terrific and I’m really looking forward to this one.
