Kristen Stewart is Diana, Princess of Wales in Spencer, out in US and UK cinemas on 5 November.
Here’s the synopsis:
The marriage of Princess Diana and Prince Charles has long since grown cold. Though rumours of affairs and a divorce abound, peace is ordained for the Christmas festivities at the Queen’s Sandringham Estate. There’s eating and drinking, shooting and hunting. Diana knows the game. But this year, things will be profoundly different. SPENCER is an imagining of what might have happened during those few fateful days.
This is a gorgeous (and hauntingly sad) poster though who knows, maybe it will herald a more realistic version of those princess birthday cakes where you bake a cake in a pudding basin, invert it, decorate it with 3000 smarties and jelly tots and shove half a Barbie in the top. Now you can stick her face down in the cake icing instead. Sadly, being a princess is not all it’s cracked up to be, kids!

Co-starring with Stewart are Sally Hawkins, Sean Harris, Timothy Spall and Jack Farthing (Prince Charles!). The film is directed by Pablo Larrain with music by Jonny Greenwood and costumes by Jaqueline Durran.
